“ Some of the best fast food Mexican I have eaten. VERY good portions for the price! Love that there are chicharrones available always! Will go again anytime I'm up here working! ”
“ The environment , the employees, the food. I don't even know where to start. I work about 10 minutes from here and me and a couple of the guys from work Stop in 1-3 times a week. You can't get better tacos from a better group of people- they have hands down the best taco spot in the state. Show my people some love and treat yourself- you won't regret it. ”
“ Great selection of inexpensive tacos as well as other meals, plus grocery items AND fresh corn tortillas to take home! ”
“ So this is a grocery store and restaurant and food to go I use them for all three they've got the great selection of produce and they always have beautiful avocados I can say that their meat in the back you can get and cook at home is fantastic especially the chorizo. I can't get out of there with getting the orange sauce as well I generally just get the tacos pastor is always my favorite but there barbacoa is top notch the service is great I always love speaking Spanish too so that makes it a fun event for me there's a few tables to eat there or sometimes we just get the meat to go and have tacos at home. ”
“ Great options for meatless eaters and pescatarians. Yummy potato tacos and delicious bean tostadas. The portions were big enough for two people to eat. I went during lunch time and had to wait a while for our order. This place has a grocery store attached stocked well with Mexican tradicional foods. Love the feel of the store and restaurant. The ambiance reminded me of a place you would see in Mexico instead of the heart of Kansas City, Kansas. They have there food set up behind large glass windows which is nice for health concerns. Everyone fixing food had on gloves. Yay! They also have a constant changing display board, which makes you want to try other menu items or come back. I must say, I only felt comfortable because I was with my teacher friend whose Hispanic. Unfortunately, by myself, I don't think I would try it. School Teacher Tee ”
“ Holy crap.....i didn't know this unassu.ing grocery store has the BEST kind of Mexican food in KC! I just moved back from AZ and had a HARD craving for some good quality tacos! They have it! They even have the authentic chicharrones on the side of the store! I had the lengua tacos...so juicy, so simple! You KNOW its going to be good when you got aunties running around the back of the kitchen! The interior is nothing fancy, just some tables, and they have a self-service at the end of the register. and no you don't have to speak spanish when you order! ”
“ Quick, delicious, and great service. Hidden gem for sure. Do not be intimidated by the bodega. They also have a great selection of baked good across the street at their bakery. ”
“ @bonito_michoacan_ great experience and food. We really like the tongue and lamb tacos, but really all were great. The red salsa is spicy and flavorful and the 2 green aren't spicy but full of salsa goodness. We got there at 5 and the line was long. Staff was great and took their time with every customer. ”
“ Finally stopped by after hearing nothing but positives about it! I mean... your girl loves a taco, but getting over to the KS side delayed me. I'm so disappointed in myself for not making the drive sooner! I decided to try a assortment of tacos! Asada, Pastor, Barbacoa, Carnitas, and Chorizo. Honestly, they were all delicious. HOWEVER, the Pastor took the win for sure. The marinate on the pork is truly there! You can taste that it is seasoned well, which makes the simplicity of a street taco so delicious. I was in a hurry, so I wasn't able to scoop out the actual market and all they had in the building. From my time I can see it is def a poppin place for a extremely dead street at around 9pm on a Thursday. I can't wait to go back, sit there and enjoy a meal! ”
